Kevin is back to Gampaha near Colombo - Sri
Lanka. We met him today.
His parents visit Furukawa's house and told that they want to thank all those who had helped Kevin during his stay in Australia. They are now very happy to find their Kevin alive. Kevin is alright and played with a old tiny maltese dog. His sight is not perfect but still he can see.
They heard before operation that doctors could not guarantee the success of the operation 99%. Nevertheless Prof. Rosenfeld did a 4 and half hours' miracle operation and finally doctors guranteed his life 3 days after the operation. They explained that The Royal Children's Hospital is a very good hospital and they were helped by many doctors and staff. As an episode, Dr. Warne did not accept their payment due and told them to use it for Kevn's medicine. They also told that without the contribution of supporters, they could not bring the medicines, especially DDAVP which is not available in Sri Lanka and should be kept in the frige during the transportation.
They would express the deepest gratitude to all the supportes of Kevin.
