News 1: Daishin Department Store to be closed
News 2: The willow tree by the police station recovers
Daishin Department Store, which was built into an unused school building and has been popular among Kugahara residents, will be closed at the end of the year, and a special discount is being held.

The willow tree, which was broken by strong wind on 9th December, 2004, has regained wands and leaves.

In the process of investigation into the deal of disguised strength calculation of apartment and hotel buildings, the house of Mr. Susumi Ojima, the President of Huser, a real estate company which sold the buildings, was searched by the police.

The exterior of Owariya Liquar Shop, which has been turned into an automat shop for years, was painted in pink, which surprises passing residents.
