As indicated in the New Year's Issue 2003 of "Kugahara Now!", the construction work continued at Chidoricho Station since the completion of the new entrance to the platform for Kamata towards making the station accessible for the handicapped, and the work has completed.
The platform for Gotanda has been stretched towards Ikegami Station, as the bridge has been removed, and the very narrow part of the platform in the Kugahara side has been closed.
This issue provides photos showing the progress of construction after the completion of the new entrance and the new facilities for the handicapped.
