My work is based on two terms;
- Windows open for ...
- Doors open for ...
Let's imagine this world without these doors, walls, windows, or all these
barriers of security which surround us.
My paintings are about these symbols.
"beautiful sights" or "horrible scenes" that anybody
can see behind a window, an opened door, a spy-hole, or quite simply the
murmurs or bursts of laughter you can imagine behind a wall that separate
us ...
My artistic expression is a perpetual question about all this.
I believe that this life is just a "door crossing". All begins
by the birth, the first door of the life, then the intermediate door,
which means the life, and the last door to the grave, the death.
These questions always hammer me ...
Finally this life seems to be just a present to live and enjoy, or a future
to receive, but in another point of view, it can be a past that comes
again, and again, and again...
I can not tell you which is right, because they are the questions without
the answers, they are perpetual.
Everything I expect from my art is to open some windows for... to represent
some doors half-open for..., or closed.
I am talking about my paintings to the open-minded people because those
can accept that they have closed or opened at least one door against/for
his society.
With my paintings, behind these gateways, everytime I try to imagine the
society I belong to, the actuality of the world which I share with you,
and I am just giving you my opinion; generally, I denounce, I announce,
or sometimes I just prefer to give up...
A simple vision of an artist.
