It's been just over 6 years since then. I still love my car and cannot imagine myself doing away with it. Ever! Especially since Mazda stopped production as of the end of August 2002. One friend sent me an image of an article cut out from the newspaper. Their last jewel of the RX-7 line was the version called Spirit R. The others were Type R Bathursts.
Based on my research prior to buying the car, I already had some ideas as to which reputable shops I can head over to. The nearest one happened to be one of the older ones in the business with a proven track record. Being obsessive-compulsive, I asked the folks there about all the things and myths I've read about in magazines and books. Although some of it were practical and true, a lot of the rest were just myths that publications and the auto industry behind all the advertising had designed to 'generate' sales.
