"AIR"(in the name of STELLA MIRUS) had come up , first, by an order, which was to express western music and classical music by chorus. From there, I expanded my world in the song.

With the fact that Pacific Moon Label is a label of Asian music, Asia was naturally the main theme of "MAI", and I have used many kinds of Asian instruments along with my one-man multiple chorus in the album.

I, myself, have challenged new things for this album. For instance, I have challenged to sing like those vocals of ethnic music, and sang with rolling tongue in the chorus.

Also, in "HONEN-BUSHI", an expert of Shima-Uta of Okinawa music, ANNA SUGAR, and I have tryed, not only multiplex of melody, but, to be in harmony with each other, which is unparalleled challenge.
